These pages are dedicated to Polish author and teacher Maria Boniecka, and in publishing them we wish to tell the true story of her life, uncorrupted by the suppression and lies of totalitarian regimes. We also want to revive attention to her works, buried by the Communist government.
This material is written and maintained by the daughter of Maria Boniecka, Magdalena Budzynowska, together with her Magdalena's son Aleksander Budzynowski.
Maria Boniecka was born in 1910 in Warsaw, Poland. She received a University education there, and served in the Polish Underground during World War II. She was persecuted by the Communist regime and with much difficulty, migrated to Australia. During her life she authored several books.
